Just what do you mean by Main Page? If this http://destroyermen.wikia.com/wiki/Destroyermen_Wiki you can edit it in classic editor only. The main body is is just a typing job you use Ctrl 'V' for pasting and Ctrl 'X' or back space key for deletions and symbols to the side to insert pics. Message me what changes needed if we are talking about the same main page. I never tried editing it until I was made bureaucrat & sysop I don't know if an admin can edit that page or not. As you know the main page is a good bit outdated and a good bit confusing to newer members as varying tribes, nations, and factions have mingled and divided and ceased to exist as well as newer members being fabricated over time. I would like a more organized main page and by this I'm refering to the dropdown menues (everything within the info box labled by the red and yellow box labled as "warning this wiki containst spoilers, vertually every page contains plot elements"). I'd like it very much simplified, something like this:
Species:
Lemurian
(include lemurian races)
Human
(Include human races)
Grik
(Include Grik races)
Then followed by something like:
Factions:
Empire of the new Britian Isles
Union of Homes
(include peoples mingled into the union such as the Khonashi, Akichi, Fil-pan lands, etc.)
Hmm, Are you talking about the Special Cagories page http://destroyermen.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Categories that is automatic and alphabetical. Perhaps we could make an index page with the category A INDEX set up that way it would be the first entry on the Special Catagoies page.
I don't know how to make the warning box you describe, nor how to move our templates into the info box file. You might message Gaarmyvet I don't know how often he visits our Wiki on the warning box. I don't know how to do that stuff.
Also might I ask what happend to the Gentaa's tails? Also also I've been going through a lot of pages and quite a few have errors in information and grammar so if you see a page that has the phrase "pending" in parentheses (...) it just means that I'm to get back to it soon after going through a few book pages to ensure that I get all of the information correct. It's a tactic I started using on other wikis to remind myself.
Either the particulary bad case of deficere caudas 'pestilentia, or the same thing, that happened with "Savioe" mid-turret: just a glitch between books.

Sorry I hadn't been on this wiki much lately, I've been very busy this summer (I had a vacation in Italy for a bit of it!) and now college is started up again, I believe I've said this before but for the time being I'll be quite bussy, but keep on keeping on! Also I was wanting to make a category page categorizing all the different species as well as a page categorizing all the different factions, think you could do something like this if you already haven't (I can't seem to find a page like these)?
I finally found some down time between Calculus class and Accounting to finish Deadly Shores and I loved it! However there is a question that I just can't seem to get out of my head lately and possiably you would know the answer: Just what the heck happened to all of the Arisaka rifles, Nambu pistols, and possiably Type 100 sub-machine guns that they captured from the Japs? Surely they have a considerably large stash of Japanese weapons by now but I haven't seen any of the mentioned. It would seem such a huge and neglectful waste to just let much more advanced old world weapons go unnoticed by the alliance. idk, possiably the Khonashi have the majority of them, seeing as that would make a lot of since sinse it was they who got the Hidoiame, but I couldn't help but be curious and ask you since your further along in the series than I am. Or maybe only Taylor Anderson knows :p anyway thanks for any advice, I know this is a small question but for some odd reason such a huge neglect of valuable resources couldn't help but bother me, thanks again!
In Straits of Hell' Taylor mentions the Japanese took most Amagi's Arisaka rifles with them, those remaining aboard and not too damaged by imersion in sea water were too few to make Ammo for. The Konashi have some, but limited captured ammunition and reserved for King Scott's guard. Other than Hidoiames main guns only the rifles are mentioned. The Konashi Regiment has muzzleloaders, and may be going to fight the Doms as there is a danger of friendly fire against the Grik. There was only half a chapter on the Konashi, due to work in oil fields and salvaging Hidoiame many groups are swelling the population, even other tribes including the Akeshi! King Scott no longer hiding, and they have money!
Old Graduate student trick to keep grades up never ever take more than three bussy work classes like math, accounting, or engineering, all with heavy homework loads, just saying.
Gaarmyvet made a new Infobox, name Infobox military units, currently as I'm typing you have to search by typing it in. Useful for articles on units like First Fleet, Third Persuit Squadron, etc. Thought you's like to know. Had E-Mail from Taylor he may send a series of maps of the Battle of Baalkpan Bay's phases they did not publish in Maelstrom.
Just added Grik Navy to Wiki main headings and pics. Straits of Hell mentions a new type of Grik transport of a design prior to the Grik indiamen no details yet, who knows maybe Viking long ships.
Oh on planes, Taylor Anderson on June 01, 2015 in his Technical Blog, http://www.taylorandersonauthor.com/blog/discussions/technical-discussions/ included the following "A “theoretical” P-1C with a stacked radial would likely incorporate the above hp formula, with a slightly longer tail (and other weights) so speed wouldn’t just double either…" He mentions a larger P-1 mounting .30 Browning MGs with stacked radial in Straits. Something you will like in more from the quote cited above "Anyway, I think you’re right. It IS time to start posting “official” performance specs and dimensions on DD-Men aircraft. I will work on that. Is there space for text under the aircraft postings?" Won't make Straits, but may be in next book.
Added many ships to the Grand Alliance Navy page Straits of Hell info. added catagory Ships of Grand Alliance Navy to hold a list of Ships of the Imperial Navy.
Having just added almost 200 character pages, then in the last two weeks reformatting 186 to get consistent character lists my Lemurian name should be Waar-Maa-Aass (where my ass?)!!!

Allows cool stats: ie 27/226 = 11.9% of named characters are female,75/226 x 100 = 33.2% of named characters are deceased, etc.
Still adding characters Lemurians and Humans I think I got all the Grik and Reptilians (Grik like), I used reptilian so the @#$%&*!!!! machine don't get confused.
All pages have warnings and templates, but text is thin. Check out Unknown in Status that's whereTaylor stashes characters who may comeback. Of course new characters from Walker, Misuki Maru, Mahan, S-19 not named in previous books may appear too.
Alliance Navy page has Starits of Hell spoilers, second fleet was hammered all four DDs gone, but Dominion fleet fairly well trashed too. Used better fanart for Walker checkout large size in photos. You might want to haunt used bookstores & yard sales in a month because Straits was darn good IMHO. PS there is also inter libray loan, too.

Taylor mentions the Konashi regiment in Strits of Hell he sent me this art about month ago and gave permission to post on Wiki today. We will see the regiment in book after Straits.
Waiting for my copy before posting things to get correct spelling have listened to the audio book lots of good stuff Has names of human Me-Anaaka hybreds ceremony elevating Celestil Mother Tony Scott reveals himself. New bad guys. This is a good one. Lots of Character development.
Noted ships lost in second fleet it was hammered, but then so was the Dominion fleet in Straits of Hell. Many Dominion prize ships captured USS Maaka-Kakja (CV-4) 'Makie Cat' is too dammaged for normal flight opperations.Second fleet is currently not an effective fighting force.
