Jis-Tikkar is a sable-furred, fast learning, and irreverent humor making Lemurian [ItS Pb p 348] In Crusade he is first to spot Amagi, and later brings the PBY home when Ben Mallory passes out after the fight with the Japanese 'Dave'. In Maelstrom he survives the crash of the PBY's last flight. In Distant Thunders he helps Mallory built the PB-1 prototype, is his backseater on it's first test flight, and volunteers as Walker's pilot, however they select Fred Reynolds for that honor. Rising Tides sees him of COFO of Salissa CV-1 he leads the first strike of carrier aircraft of the Alliance Navy. Firestorm sees 'Tikker' shooting down a Grik zep he flies missions supporting the alliance forces on Ceylon.
