Personality[]

Hisashi Kurokawa is generally reconned to be mad and displays signs of instability along with other negative personality traits. He is quick to anger, prone to sudden mood swings, sociopathic (viewing those around him as at best tools to further his ambitions which are all ultimately), megalomaniacal, revenge oriented, exhibits casual cruelty and is bigoted. He views his crew as cowards, the grik with contempt and above all else wants to see the destruction of the crew of USS Walker.

Despite all that he does exhibit remarkable determination, drive and organizational skill. He was able to convince the Celestial Mother to give him his own fief within the Grik Empire, has cultivated a population of Grik fanatically loyal to him and established a major industrial base in Zanzibar.

In Storm Surge Kurokawa escapes the second battle of Madras aboard the Nachi and is seen aboard her and ashore in Cochin in the prologue of Deadly Shores his only appearance.

GNS Nachi

Kurokawa escapes the disaster of his fleet at Madras aboard the cruiser Nachi. These cruisers based on the first Japanese ironclad Azuma see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_ironclad_K%C5%8Dtetsu
