Fort Defiance is an earthen walled pentagon shaped fort sixty miles inland from Porto Viejo astride the Comino Militar. It is just south of the junction leading west to Porto Viejo, north east to Chimborazo, and south to Guayak. We see it being built in Deadly Shores chapter fifteen although it is not named. It's defence is a major plot element of Straits of Hell.
