Conrad Diebel was a Lieutenant Royal Netherlnds East Indies Army Air Force, then a POW on Mizuki Maru, he is from Netherlands [I.G.S. Pb. p. 37]. Later is a Lieutenant of the 3rd pursuit squadron Mackey Field Ceylon. He flies to help sink the two Japanese carriers and returns to Mahe first in Blood in the Water. He is killed by a Macchi-Messerschmidtt Devil's Due.
